The technology operates on a simple yet effective principle: it releases moisture when the air is too dry and absorbs excess moisture when the air is too humid. This dynamic equilibrium ensures that herbs are stored in an environment with optimal humidity levels, which is typically between 58% and 62% relative humidity for most herbs. By maintaining this balance, AVERT TERP Fresh prevents the common issues associated with improper storage, such as dryness that leads to brittle herbs or excessive moisture that can cause mold and mildew.
The advantages of using AVERT TERP Fresh for herb storage extend beyond mere preservation. By maintaining the perfect humidity level, this product ensures that herbs retain their natural flavor, potency, and therapeutic properties for a significantly longer period. This is particularly important for medicinal herbs, where the effectiveness of the active compounds can diminish over time if not stored correctly. Furthermore, for connoisseurs and enthusiasts, the preservation of terpenesthe aromatic compounds responsible for the scent and flavor profile of herbsis paramount. AVERT TERP Fresh’s 2-way humidity control not only extends the shelf life of herbs but also preserves these delicate terpenes, ensuring that each experience is as rich and satisfying as the last.
