Eco Coir Compost 9L

Peatlands are among the world’s most effective natural carbon stores and support a rich diversity of wildlife. Choosing peat-free compost helps reduce pressure on these important habitats while providing an environmentally conscious option for gardeners.

Eco Coir Compost is made from 100% sustainably sourced coconut coir, offering a natural and versatile growing medium for houseplants, herbs, vegetables, fruit, flowers, and cacti.

This compressed coir block expands to produce up to 9 litres of high-quality compost when water is added. The lightweight, fibrous texture promotes excellent drainage and airflow while retaining moisture where plants need it most. These properties help create ideal conditions for healthy root growth and stronger plant development.

Coir naturally retains and releases nutrients over time, helping plants access nourishment more effectively and reducing nutrient loss through soil leaching. This supports healthier growth while improving overall soil structure.

How to Use

Add water to the compressed block and allow it to fully expand. Once hydrated, the compost is ready to use for potting, planting, or mixing into existing soil.

Additional Information

The coir fibres are carefully graded, washed, and buffered through a water-recycling process to ensure a clean, consistent growing medium. Free from peat and artificial fertilisers, it provides a neutral and gentle base for plants to establish strong roots. To support ongoing growth, simply add your preferred organic plant feed after planting.
