DESCRIPTION

Acrylic on raw canvas | 2023

Portals, the new series of paintings from artist Sarah White, is a nod to organic color, composition, and decomposition. Whites belief that nature does it best is foundational to the series. Use of diluted acrylic creates atmospheric and abstract compositions inspired by organic material and natural decay that often goes unnoticed. Her work celebrates extraordinary qualities that, given time, can arise in ordinary objects.
