Returns Simplified.Loralee Jades paintings exist in the space between memory and sensation, language and the ineffable. Working with pigment on transparent silk, she creates surfaces that hover between presence and dissolutionsuggestive of figuration yet fluid in abstraction. Her work is a wordless conversation, rich with emotion, clarity, and open-ended inquiry.
In her latest series, Jade continues her practice of responding to the images and memories she carriessome deeply personal, others fleeting impressions of color, past works, or dreams. Whether she is tracing generational trauma, reflecting on the profound shift of motherhood, or surrendering to the depths of blue, her paintings hold more than words can capture. Sensuous and luminous, her works invite the viewer into a space where feeling takes form, dissolves, and lingers.
Due to the delicate nature of the material, there may be inconsistencies in the appearance of the work. These are a part of the artist’s process and meant to be a part of the work.
