They are compatible with most reef-safe fish such as clownfish, gobies, tangs, and wrasses. Avoid coral-nipping species like butterflyfish or some angelfish to maintain the corals health and polyp integrity. Lighting Needs These corals thrive under moderate to high LED reef lighting, which enhances their golden hues and promotes healthy growth. When introducing a new polyp, acclimate it slowly to the aquarium lighting to prevent stress or bleaching. Water Flow Requirements Provide moderate, indirect water flow that allows the tentacles to wave naturally without being blasted by strong currents. Proper water movement encourages nutrient exchange, keeps debris off the coral, and supports healthy polyp extension. Tank Size & Placement Gold Torch Corals are best suited to medium to large marine aquariums. Place each polyp with sufficient space around it to expand and grow. Consistent reef tank parameters and regular maintenance will help ensure this coral thrives and maintains its vibrant colour and movement. All our corals are sustainably collected or tank grown to ensure our reefs remain protected.
